There was / were (había) is the past form of There is / are and we use it according the chart below :
 


1.-Copy the chart in your notebook.

2.-Make exercises 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 on page 57 in your workbook to practice it.

3.-Make exercise 5 on page 62 in your notebook to review the verb ‘to be’ in past tense.
