ENGLISH GRAMMAR 4º (June, 1st)
FUTURE CONTINUOUS AND FUTURE PERFECT
After revising the
different ways we can express future time in English last week, we have to
learn to form and use the Future Continuous and the Future Perfect.
The FUTURE CONTINUOUS is formed by WILL +
BE (always in infinitive form) + VERB-ING and it expresses what will be
happening in a concrete future time.
For
example : Think about tomorrow at 14.00
p.m. What will you be doing? I will be having lunch.
The FUTURE PERFECT is formed by WILL + HAVE
(always in infinitive form) + PAST PARTICIPLE VERB (3rd column /-ed)
and it expresses what will have finished at a concrete future time.
For
example : Think about tomorrow at 14.00 p.m. What will you have done? I will
have had breakfast, I will have taken a shower and I will have gone shopping.
