WEATHER NOUNS
1.-Copy the following nouns related to weather and their definitions in
your notebook.
BREEZE : a gentle wind.
DRIZZLE : light rain.
FROST : a thin white layer that forms on
very cold surfaces.
GALE : a very strong wind.
MIST : small drops of water in the air
making it difficult to see object that are not near.
SLEET : a mixture of snow and wind.
TORNADO : an extremely strong
wind blowing in a circle.
HEATWAVE : a period of time when
the weather is much hotter than usual.
HURRICANE : a violent storm with
very strong winds.
SHOWERS : a short period of
rain.
BLIZZARD : a storm with strong
winds and snow.
HAILSTORM : a sudden heavy fall
of hail.
