ACTIVITIES 
 
1.- Change the underlined definitions for one of the following equivalent adjectives:

      Swollen-Bruised-Allergic-Stiff-Broken-Aching-Dislocated-Itchy-Sore-Sprained

            -Having ache in your muscles.
            -Painful, aching back.
            -Not easily bent neck.
            -Larger or rounder in shape ankle.
            -Moved from its proper place shoulder.
            -Having been fragmented leg.
            -With twisted ligaments wrist
            -Having injury with discoloured skin on knees.
            -Uncomfortable sensation causing desire to scratch skin.
            -Hypersensitive reactions.

2.-The bold Phrasal verbs are in the wrong sentence. Rewrite them in the correct one.

            -If you cheer up your problems, you will find a solution.
            -I promise to open up sugar.
            -They always face up to playing with their pet.
            -Babies love dummies to cut down.
            -I like to work out having a coffee while reading a book.
            -You chill out at pedestrian crosses.
            -I’m sure he will slow down and tell me all his secrets.
            -She goes to the gym to calm down.
