ENGLISH GRAMMAR 1º ESO (April, 27th)



Copy the following GRAMMAR point in your notebook and click on the link to practice it.



-Like all the modal verbs,  MUST and MUSTN’T are followed by a bare infinitive verb
            He must be at home at 7 o’clock.          You mustn’t smoke here.
-Like all the modal verbs, MUST and MUSTN’T  has the same form for all the subjects.
            We must take our ID cards.                  She mustn’t be late.
                                               !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
            We usually translate ‘MUST …’ as ‘Deber’ into Spanish.
            We translate ‘You mustn’t …’ into Spanish as ‘Está prohibido'.
