followed by a bare infinitive verb

mustn’t smoke here.
-Like all the modal
verbs, MUST and MUSTN’T has the same form
for all the subjects.
We must
take our ID cards. She
mustn’t be late.

We usually translate ‘MUST …’ as
‘Deber’ into Spanish.
We
translate ‘You mustn’t …’ into Spanish as ‘Está prohibido'.
